Short answer
Aniimo is a free-to-play, open-world creature-catching action RPG from Pawprint Studio. It takes place in Idyll, where Pathfinders explore, meet and catch Aniimo, then use their abilities directly through a system called Twining.
What you do
Exploration and collecting are the foundation. Encounters can vary with location, time, weather and other phenomena. Catching uses Aniipods, traps and timing rather than a single universal interaction.
Twining distinguishes the moment-to-moment play: the player can become a collected Aniimo to traverse, fight and solve environmental challenges with that creature’s abilities. The game also includes Homeland, where players can plant crops, build and decorate a personal space.
Solo and online play
Steam lists single-player, online co-op, online PvP and cross-platform multiplayer. Operation: Egg Heist is officially described as a three-player-team PvEvP activity in the Lost Isles. Players interested mainly in exploration are not required to treat Aniimo as a competitive-only game.
What this site does not assume
Aniimo has similarities to other creature collectors, but comparisons do not prove its systems. This guide uses Aniimo’s own terminology and official descriptions. It also avoids publishing a single roster total while community databases disagree about whether forms and data-file entries should count separately.
